Workshop Manager / Product Support Manager

TFM have a great opportunity for a hands on manager to work in our Product Support Department based at Stableford Nr. Bridgnorth.

As the Product Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering the highest standards of customer service
  • Development and maintenance of a strong customer base
  • Maximising department sales & profits
  • Manage, motivating & inspiring the team
  • Developing excellent knowledge of the target marketplace & support our store teams with spare parts and service

The successful candidate will have enthusiasm for customer service and be motivated to drive the department forward. The right candidate will have experience in a similar horticultural machinery workshop role, be able to communicate effectively both over the telephone and face to face and be I.T. literate.

The role involves working Monday – Saturday 8:00 – 5:30 one week and Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 5:30 the second week (average of 42.5 hours).

TFM is a growing family business and operates seven retail stores in Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire. We service and repair horticultural machines, make up hydraulic hoses, cut keys, sharpen a variety of tools, and hire machinery/tools from our Product Support department in Stableford.

Assistant Manager – Newport (Shropshire)

We are seeking a full time assistant manager who will work to inspire, develop, motivate, and lead the team. In this role you will be a key member of the business management team where you will work to maximise sales and the performance of our Newport store through building a highly engaged and high performing team.

  • The successful candidate will:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Challenge the norm to deliver innovation and drive our business forward.
  • Be a team player who is positive and motivated with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Have at least 2 years’ of proven management experience from a similar fast-paced trade or bulky goods sales environment.
  • Ideally have experience of the agricultural or construction sector.
  • Be able to demonstrate sound retail and commercial awareness.
  • Be a passionate individual who will deliver operational excellence and commercial decisions that will drive the highest results

Assistant Manager – Banbury

TFM is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work as a Assistant Manager /Duty Manager at our farm and country superstore in Banbury. TFM is a growing family business and operates seven retail stores in Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire.

As a Assistant Manager/Duty Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Development and maintenance of a strong local customer base
  • Maximising store sales & profits
  • Assisting the manager with the commercial, financial & operational running of the store
  • Delivering the highest standards of customer service
  • Leading, motivating & inspiring the team
  • Developing excellent knowledge of the target marketplace & local community

The successful candidate will have motivation, enthusiasm for the product range and ideally some experience in retail or trade sales. An AMTRA qualification and FLT licence would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right candidate. The role involves working an average of 5 days each week, including every other weekend and offers superb opportunities for career progression.

Sales Assistant – Penkridge

Our Penkridge store are looking for a sales assistant to work every other weekend and a few week days. This will be up to 34 hours per week.

Ideally looking for a varied role the successful candidate with have a customer first mentality and a thirst for knowledge and development.

The role includes;

Serving customer’s on the till

Answering questions over telephone

Advising customers on products and services that TFM supply

Carrying to Car (goods up to 25kg)

Dropping and filling stock

Delivering goods to customers
