Rycoben is broad spectrum worm and fluke oral suspension for sheep. It is a group 1 white wormer (or benzimidazole) containing ricobendazole and is effective against roundworms (including Nematodirus battus), tapeworms, lungworms and adult liver fluke. It is the only white drench licensed as an aid in the prevention of cobalt and selenium deficiency.

Rycoben controls a broad spectrum of major gastrointestinal roundworms, tapeworms, lungworms and adult liver fluke in sheep, and treats chronic fascioliasis.
Gastrointestinal roundworms (adult and immature):
Bunostomum, Chabertia spp, Cooperia spp, Haemonchus contortus, Nematodirus spp including N.battus, Oesophagostomum spp, Teledorsagia spp, Strongyloides spp and Trichostrongylus spp. Ovicidal to roundworm eggs.
Tapeworms (including heads and segments): Moniezia spp
Lungworms (adult and immature): Dictyocaulus filaria
Liver fluke (adult): Fasciola hepatica
Aids in the prevention of cobalt and selenium deficiency.
Withdrawal periods for Rycoben
Meat and offal: 3 days.
Milk: do not administer to sheep producing milk for human consumption.
