Flukiver 5% is an oral suspension flukicide containing closantel, for the control of adult and immature liver fluke causing chronic and sub-acute fasciolosis, nasal bots and inhibited, immature and adult stages of Barber Pole worm in sheep and lambs. It can be used in all age groups of sheep and lambs, including during pregnancy, and in rams during the breeding season.

Target activity of Flukiver
Flukiver 5% Oral Suspension controls chronic and subacute liver fluke infections caused by adult and immature Fasciola hepatica in sheep and lambs. It can be used on farms with triclabendazole resistance1.

Flukiver also controls Oestrus ovis (Sheep Nasal Bot Fly) and controls inhibited, immature and adult stages of Haemonchus contortus (Barber Pole Worm) including benzimidazole resistant strains.

Ticks (Ixodes ricinus) feeding on sheep at the time of treatment are likely to produce fewer viable eggs.

Withdrawal periods for Flukiver
Meat and offal: 42 days.
Milk: do not administer to ewes producing milk for human consumption, including in the dry period. Do not use within 1 year prior to the first lambing in ewes intended to produce milk for human consumption.
