The Smart Feeder is designed to deter large birds. and squirrels. Each port operates independently allowing birds up to a maximum weight of 70g to feed safely whilst keeping away larger birds and it deters squirrels too!

How it works: As a larger bird lands on the port and exceeds the weight limit of the perch it will lower, as it slides down the port becomes covered preventing access to the food. The dividers between each port prevent the larger bird from hanging on and feeding from the adjacent port. Only the port that has exceeded the weight will close allowing other birds to continue feeding.
